Privacy

As Scott McNealy said years ago, "You have no privacy. Get over it." After all, this is the Internet. But that doesn't mean we get to be careless with your data. Far from it. Here's what data we collect, what we do with it, and how we keep it private.

Privacy

We track where you come from and what you do here so that we can determine what content is useful, and so that we can try to debug problems that you have on our site. We don't share this information with anyone, period.

Demographic Data

We ask for demographic information (Name, Address, City, State, Zip, Phone, Email) so that we can contact you about other Hentzenwerke services and products that you may be interested in. We only do this if you register as "Preferred" or "Regular". We don't share any of this information with anyone else. Ever. Period.

Mailings

When you register as a customer or in order to download files, you are given a choice as to whether you want to receive mailings from us. You can change those preferences through the Your Account link. Alternatively, you can opt out of snail mail and email mailings by sending email to remove@hentzenwerke.com and specifying your name, company (if applicable), and email address.

Credit Card Info

We delete your credit card information as soon as we receive confirmation from the service bureau that your charge was successfully processed. That's why you have to re-enter your credit card information each time you buy something here. We encrypt the authorization information, not that it would be of any use to any one...
